Pipework repair — fixing leaks and damage
We repair leaking and damaged pipes without replacing the whole system, when the overall condition of the pipework allows it. It's the fastest and cheapest way to stop water damage.
- Call-outs around the clock
- Price confirmed before the work
- An honest assessment of the problem
When a repair is enough and when it isn't
If the leak is in one spot — a faulty fitting, a mechanically damaged pipe or a loose connection — the section can be replaced or the joint renewed. A repair makes sense when the rest of the pipework is sound and free of corrosion.
If the pipework is rusted throughout (e.g. an old cast-iron pipe) or leaks keep appearing in new spots, we'll honestly recommend a full pipe replacement instead — otherwise the same problem repeats within a few months.
Typical repair jobs
- Replacing a leaking pipe joint or fitting
- Cutting out a damaged section of pipe and installing a new one
- Fixing a leak at a mixer tap, WC or washing machine connection
- Replacing a shutoff valve or angle valve
- Temporary emergency leak containment until larger work can be done
How we find hidden damage
When the leak is inside a wall or floor, we use leak-detection equipment so that only the necessary spot is opened, rather than demolishing the whole wall.
