How a maintenance visit works
We arrive with a septic tanker, assess how full the tank or trap is, and empty it. If needed, we carry out a camera survey to see whether the pipework shows early signs of blockage or subsidence, and also flush out nearby floor drains and access hatches.
How often maintenance is needed
Frequency depends on the load: the amount of grease produced in the kitchen, the number of households, or the volume of the collection tank. On the first visit we set a suitable schedule, which can be fine-tuned later as needed.
Differences between houses, apartment buildings and businesses
- A house usually has one collection or sediment tank, emptied less often
- An apartment building has a shared riser and tanks, where the whole building needs maintenance at once
- A business, especially in catering, has a grease trap that needs considerably more frequent emptying
